The room for the Feline Leukemia-Positive cats is finished. We are working on
getting it painted and cleaned up to put the cats in, hopefully by next weekend.
I have been working hard to get this website known: We now are listed on
Buffalo.com, Yahoo.com, Google.com, CoolCatSites.com, AnimalHome.com,
ThePoop.com, and 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com and we are trying to get on others.
There will be more changes to the website. There are plans for a Special-Needs
Animals Page, a Feral Cats Page -- for adoption or sponsorship, and a Pet
Owner's Support Services Page, where you can access all sorts of interesting
information that we have discovered. Watch for them.
We really need help with cat care... even if you can take one day a week or one
day every other week that would be a lot of help... call 881-0862. This involves
replenishing food and water, light housekeeping tasks (sweeping, vacuuming,
dishes), scooping litterboxes and, last but not least, kissing and hugging the
kitties!

We have finished the FeLV room, just waiting to see if we have enough heaters in
the room (to regulate the heat). They should be moved in by next weekend. We
got a donation of a couch for them, big plump pillows, and a really nice large
condo for them.
We got a large donation of flooring for the shelter. We are looking for people
with experience in installing ceramic tile, Pergo and sheet linoleum.
We also are now listed under Network for Good for donations and volunteer
services. If you go to them and we are not listed, just add our name. It will take
48 hours for our group to be listed.
